Realization of distributed AC charging infrastructure within a large logistics center, with no impact on daily operations.

For this location, the assignment was to provide 10% of the parking spaces with AC charging points, spread across multiple zones within the logistics center. This called for careful distribution of the charging infrastructure among various feeders and sub-distributors.

After an extensive technical inspection, NL Mobility prepared a plan of action, which determined the most efficient connection for each zone. In addition to expansions in multiple distribution boxes, connection to the existing busbar trunking system was chosen for the northeast side of the property. In cooperation with the supplier of this system, an additional descending field was realized for this purpose.

By spreading the payload power across several main distributors, only limited additional power is required at each location. This keeps the electrical load balanced and does not interfere with daily logistics operations.
